ok, so.. after failing to pass an MS COFF through polink/PellesC.. I assume MS COFF has some limitations not present in PE exe's.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what these limitations are? I get a bunch of errors about structs and macros, so there's a clue.

Specifically;
-Can I use macros?
-Can I use import?
-What are the rules on code structure/sections/etc..

Thanks! Rolling Eyes

I don't know about polink specifically, but in general:

Macros generate code. Macro themselves are fine but the code they generate needs to be considered.

Import can't be used. Use extrn instead.

Export can't be used. Use public instead.
