I guess I'll leave about month, maybe more for all people who wants to come, to inform me about which dates are fine for them.

It is not so sure whether we'll have live webcast. There was some discussion that it was causing confusion during talks etc. We'll see....

Yes, but, I am generally confused, anyway. As I recall, it was only my ineptitude which caused the problem, so, there should be no problem this year.

Is there a list of all of the lectures that will be taking place? So far I can only find 3 proposed on the fasmcon website.

sleepsleep: do you mean like C syntax? I don't mind an option for something like that, but in my opinion assembly should be as assembly is if that makes sense, i.e. no HLA syntax, I don't mind some macros (proc, struct etc.) but I like assembly at the lowest level, it is how I believe that you learn the most.

But C is a really nice language I must admit, and it is very powerful. What do you think of C-- also (off topic I know). You basically have standard C but you can reference registers (not sure if it is just GPRs or what).

So far that's all lectures we know will take places. That reminds me, I should probably prepare something myself, as well... Smile

(And you can subscribe to the fasmcon Atom feed so that you can receive updates.)

Thanks revolution, we are. We just finished the talks, drinking beer and all sorts of other things, swimming in the pool. We are still sober, of course.

videos from conference

Quote:

please a bit of patience, I'm uploading them now
sorry for huge size, it is AC3 mpeg with 5.1 sound (DVD format), better compression is not yet available
videos are unmodified, directly copied from camera (I don't yet have time neither suitable video converter to convert them to smaller files, but recompression may decrease quality and thus also readability of small texts)

William Whistler (UK), Karel Lejska (MazeGen, Czechia)
A crash course on Manual x86 Instruction Disassembly

100 Megabytes part1:
http://tokk.biz/fasmcon2009/M2U00502.MPG

stay on, uploading of 2 GB lasts about 1 hour, so all videos will be available in about 5 hours (if I manage not to fall asleep, the upload transfer stops unexpectedly sometimes)
the reason of more parts is in fact that camera stores videos in the FAT and it has a limit of 2 GB so the camera splits larger videos into more parts
2 GB of video are equal to 30 minutes

the last video will be bonus from accomodation Holiday house http://www.rekreacnydomhavlova.estranky.sk/stranka/english http://www.rekreacnydomhavlova.estranky.sk/ - from its swimming pool - with the name:
THE WORLD BIGGEST BATTLE FOR BEER !!!
