Hi ! vid Very Happy
Ddraw too slow with sprites of 32x32? Shocked Shocked
Look at this Fasm program, work full mode and window mode, it uses 8 sprites of 450x70 which work at the same time.
Do not say to me that Ddraw is too slow, you will not find of better way of programming quickly for 2d games... Wink

you didn't comprehend me. I meant ddraw is slow on SMALL sprites, because all it's internal stuff consumes more cpu time than hw-unacceleratd drawing would. There is slight difference between drawing 1024 pixels for 32x32 and 31500 pixels for 450x70 bitmap.

btw, your app didn't run windowed, just in normal coop mode, without any window, and it hanged system a little (CTRL+ALT+DEL fixed it)

Hi ! vid Very Happy
Naturally if you wish a very big speed in a resolution 1024 and superior it is going to be very difficult to obtain...
Good courage for your programs.

unbelievable fashionable and very smart game!
first look made me memoirs with the greatest games for C=64 and Amiga.
The main prg code's size 26kB is awesome! Smallest and very playable!

I give for this project five stars/five possible: * * * * *
(in my subjective scale)
