So, since no one here believes strongly enough to take my bet.

actually, the bet process should be like this.
if i believe 2012 gonna be doomsday, then, logically, i gonna spend all the money before 2012, so, basically, if you wanna bet with people who believe doomsday, you gonna give them the sum of bet before the doomsday, then after 2012, if nothing happen, then they double pay you. Smile

Hmm, so how can I be sure that they won't run off with my money never to repay me the double amount?

Well, if you know differently then take my bet! Smile

Ahhh, you see, you also didn't take my bet so you also know it won't end.

Why are you so black & white?
You know there a thing called "unknown" not sure if you heard about it.
No I don't know either, I never said it.

Plus even if I knew it was going to end, I won't gain anything from your bet Wink

Sure you do, you get respect for putting your money where your beliefs are. If you truly believe the world WILL end then you actually have nothing to lose by taking my bet. Razz

it would end someday for sure Wink
that is nature law.

see the sea waves, sometime up, sometime down.
that is law of nature. the earth will end one day..
but nobody exactly know when, (except some ... who are connected to divine spirits.)

What spirits? Where? I say that is nonsense. Until it is proven otherwise of course. Wink

Isn't there already another thread discussing about a certain $1M prize for proving something paranormal?

He should have said "(except some ... who claim to be connected to divine spirits.)" Razz

and revolution, you can't see them cause you're not connected like they are! Did you plug in the cable correctly? Razz

Maybe I've got only the audio cable plugged in correctly. These voices in my head can sometimes get annoying so maybe I will unplug it later.

Memorising numbers is simply a reflection of training methods. Why would that be considered paranormal?

Lets say that the world is going to end on December 21,2012. So what? Is not like you can do anything about it. If the world is going to end, you do nothing by worrying about it. If the world is not going to end, why worry?

Never trust the claims of someone that do not tell you the method used to arrive at this conclusion. Also make sure that the method makes sense. Mmm, in a way this is the basis of OpenSource Smile

I had no idea about the I-Ching stuff, and obviously, this article fails just as bad at citing references. It says it's wrong, based on his personal graph or something, but that's it.

Firstly I say that I don't know anything about this particular image so the following is just speculation.

But, I will say that there could any number of reasons to see flashes of light on the edge of the Sun during eclipses. To conclude that it is "planet X" without further evidence is at the very least bad astronomy technique and at the worst just plain and simple lies.

If it really is Planet X then why are all the worlds astronomers not jumping for joy at finding it? Because I can assure you they would be very excited at the prospect.

My guess is that there is no "Planet X" that has just now been suddenly discovered by someone looking at some random photograph and then posted on some random website. Come on folks, get a grip on reality, the Internet lies you us, don't believe anything without checking into it further.

Mercury? What would Mercury be doing right there? There was no transit of Mercury this year, so definitely not at at the time of this eclipse.

OMG, if that is not Mercury then that means it is PLANET XI. Woohoo, I have discovered a new planet. Yay for me! Very Happy

Heh, yeah right, if it was so easy everyone would be discovering planets all over the place.
