                  The main problem is that ANY System that is not coded with 100% of ASSEMBLER is soon lost for ever...
 
                  
                The reason is simply because C code or even java code are both frightening the users and even the programmers in charge of any modification of existing systems code with C language or any language. Even ADA language is too hard to modify ! Even Linux, coded in C language, will disapear soon because it is not 100% coded with assembler. shakuni wrote: How can I implement my own custom subsystem in windows ?                   The Win32 console is managed by csrss.exe (the client/server runtime subsystem). How you would implement your own subsystem, I guess you could create a graphical window and create a dll with functions to modify the characters inside the window and to get keyboard and mouse input, which would emulate a console.
