Yeah, no need to add a clumsy chat feature to the board, when it's much better handled by IRC. Don't have a client? Grab one.

No need to feel terribly, it is valid idea, often repeated.

There is no problem about it, it's just that if you really want to do some chatting, then you should grab some real client. Web based clients are easier to set up, but worser for long-term use.

Don't use mIRC, use IceChat or HydraIRC or whatever. (Sorry, but mIRC is overrated, and there are many other alternatives.)

I still haven't found a windows IRC client that's better than mIRC... all the others I've tried just haven't felt right, have been ugly, or whatever. Hydra is one of the better-looking, but it still just doesn't feel right... and I hate those draggable toolbars.

See here lies the problem!
Everybody has his own saying and they are bullying me because I am only 0.1.
So to take care of newbies like I Need A Moderator!

0.1: you seem not to understand what IRC client is. There is single IRC server you need to connect (freenode.net), and you can use any client for that. Then, you can chat with anyone who is connected to that IRC server using any client.

...which probably has something to say about the real demand for a FASM chat Smile

Well, what we really need is a set time and rough discussion topic.

0.1: don't always ask to delete thread after it appears somehow "unsuccessful" to you. It's okay, and your threads are quite okay compared to some big-ego newcomers Wink

You can't anything without learning it first. There is no inborn knowledge. It is good to learn things, and to find own mistakes, better than remaining at one level and resiting to learn anything new.

Dunno if that'd really help, Ehtyar... there might be a few more people joining, but I dunno if a separate fasm channel is necessary at all; EFnet already has #asm and #win32asm .
