Yes, indeed, it's very hard to see a smile on his face. Razz Wink

Zephyr is always watchful, ready to escape whenever he sees or hears something uncommon or suspicious to him. I'd describe him as a ranger who is always in action. Wink

Cats are used to communicate with us by gestures and a kind of "body language". If cat sits like that that, showing us his/her back, that means "Leave me alone, don't bother me (because I have not bothered you)". From the other hand, ears directed backwards and a vigilant sight suggest that it is not a depressed cat. Quite opposite, he/she is just fed up with something but doesn't want to make a fuss. Wink

I like the photo, carries a lot of information about the whole scene. Smile

You will be surprised if you get to know how much we can learn about ourselves observing cats. I have witnessed many situations that completely changed my opinion accordingly our, typically human, anthropocentric model of the world. In short words, we are not only species that is intelligent - we are living in a world that is full of beings that communicate with each other in languages we can only barely understand. We have been constantly observed all the time by our "little brothers" and don't really need to look for other civilisations in the Universe because we have "aliens" among us. Wink

What is truly amazing is that the blind cat could still play and run around without any problems!
