| DOS386 26 Dec 2006, 04:08 Quote: I use FASM to create MZ apps .. Everything apparently works fine except for the fact that all the executables it creates have permission problems (i.e. you cannot rename/delete them). Definitely NOT FASM's fault. Quote: I tried doing that using the safe mode, but it won't do. I still get the "It is being used by another person or program" thingie.. You seem to use MZ apps on a non-DOS system ... since this "thingie" is inexistent in DOS ... Maybe you have this issue: http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?t=6267 Have multiple "DOS-BOX"es with faulty instances of your prog running ? _________________ Bug Nr.: 12345 Title: Hello World program compiles to 100 KB !!! | Fady 26 Dec 2006, 04:52 Yeah, I guess that was the problem then. It worked well when the files were renamed from within the emulated system itself..
 Thanks a bunch  | |||
