I am searching for a piece of FASM code that I can not make alone, because file access is too much for me with FASM . The point is that it's very frustrating to have a BOOT FONT, and to display it with a high level language... why have a BOOT FONT then ?


That's why I'm searching for a piece of assembler code able to display a 256x8x8 pixels file ( = exactly 2048 bytes ). Obviously, my file "BOOTFONT.BIN" has absolutly no header, because all chars of the file are 8x8 pixels...

Uuuh, you are talking about the wrong thing edfed... He has a font which is declared as 2048 bytes, and wants to display it. He is not trying to display letters on a text interface.
