yeah, it's funny. But it's just a joke, look at here:

I'm not sure if I'm on-topic or off-topic, BUT ... despite my own lack of knowledge and general disinterest in C++, there are some decent programs written in it: UPX, DOSbox, FreeImage, UnixLite, SETedit, SciTE, UNRAR, 7-ZIP, NDIR, PAQ8F, PPMd, GNU Gperf, GNU Groff, etc.

<EDIT>And some more big-name examples can be found at Stroustrup's page here.</EDIT>

I thought DOSbox was mostly plain C - it was even ported to Menuet.

I'm just counting what the 0.63 source .TAR.GZ archive has in it. Since there are 98 .CPP files and only 3 .C files, I think it speaks for itself. However, C++ is a "multiple paradigm" language, so you can write C-ish code with it, which I'm (blindly) guessing made it easy/easier to port to Menuet. You'll have to ask the guy who did the port for the real answer, I guess.

[EDIT]It appears spideros1 hasn't posted in about a year, and his webpage seems to be down, too.[/EDIT]
