Hello Fasmers,
does somebody of you know how to acces a Ethernet NIC from FASM or C++ or C?
I have RTL8139B Card and want to make a simple PING'er for testing and later maybe a mini webserver for embedded pc boards.

Googling does the trick Smile.

Checked out their site, and found this: ftp://152.104.238.194/cn/nic/rtl8139abcd8130810xseries/p-guide(8139).zip
has C and asm code for the R8139 series.

That should get you started. (You might have problems getting direct access to the hardware from windows/linux, because of permissions and such).

Good luck,
gunblade

Edit: URL tags dont seem to work around ftp:// links, and the auto-link stops at the (, so you'll have to copy and paste Rolling Eyes
