Hi!

My name is Enzo, 17 years old, from France (Paris).
I practice assembly for 6-10 months (I have begun with NASM) now, so I lack experience yet.
My interests are ASM (and CPUs in general), functionnal programming because I like Mathematics too.
I run FreeBSD, GNU/Linux (Arch) and Windows 7 (but I know only the ELF32 format).

Smile

Hello! (im a new user to the forum)
hi im am new to asm and flat assembler nonethe less i have some higher level programing knowlege .. ive spent few years compiling scripts written in pascal using something called MML...

its like c++ so yeah im efficient at it and its a thing i enjoy (basically programming a macro to cheat on videogames using MML...in pascal...)

i am here though because asm is the most flexible and has the most control...
my goal is to be able to compile my own programs by the end of the year... at least... with asm i do have a few things id like 2 build but nonetheless need to learn the fundamentals and basics first ...

so yes im am introducing myself

Welcome on board. I hope you will stay. Smile Assembly is the greatest language ever, but it needs some persistence at the beginning.
FASM is the greatest tool to learn assembly language. It can be very simple and very powerful. It is a good choice for the beginner and for the advanced programmer.

In response to some suggestions regarding my appearance in my teen years I post here a few old photos of me. Smile

Here you have a 17 y. o. version of me (Easter 1993) and two photos taken two years later (June 1995) during a bicycle trip:

Very Happy

That's how I looked like when I was 22. Since pictures contained some irritating empty spaces I filled them with speech balloons what resulted in creation of a pseudo-cartoon. Wink

70-ish, 'been using MS-debug for years, now trying to learn fasm. Find my username on Google Earth!! A small, lovely part of the world. If I knew how to post a photo, I would, it shows me with an old ten-speed bicycle.

Something must have happened between 1995 and 1998 that triggered the growing of your sexually-appealing mustache. What was it? Rolling Eyes Wink

I found the following three songs:

- fargus.mp3
- opcodes.WAV
- new_home.mp3

Were these songs really sung by you? Rolling Eyes "New Home" is definitely my favorite! Razz Razz Razz Wink
