how can i play a midi file using api calls and how can i put the midi file into the exe file i have coded

About playing I don't know. Sad

About storing: You can embed it in the code two ways:
1. As binary resource
2. As static data - use "file" directive of FASM

I know two ways of doing it: using MCI API and DirectMusic.

For MCI API see http://board.flatassembler.net/files/postcard_173.zip . If you're not satisfied with this solution, I can post info about DirectMusic.
