books, novels, - read,learn,understand,acquired
saw this and hopefully, i would read this in coming changes,

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/30/books/dan-brown-origin.html

Quote:
“Origin” is Mr. Brown’s eighth novel. It finds his familiar protagonist, the brilliant Harvard professor of symbology and religious iconography Robert Langdon, embroiled once more in an intellectually challenging, life-threatening adventure involving murderous zealots, shadowy fringe organizations, paradigm-shifting secrets with implications for the future of humanity, symbols within puzzles and puzzles within symbols and a female companion who is super-smart and super-hot.

As do all of Mr. Brown’s works, the new novel does not shy away from the big questions, but rather rushes headlong into them. Here the question is: Can science make religion obsolete?

Can science make religion obsolete?

I never understood the stupid writing like "This is a quoted string," it makes no sense to place the punctuation inside the string. It was funny to see you go against it in the novel (+1), and informative since I found out how that crap is actually called.

It's just as stupid and retarded as french or whoever placing a space before quotation/exclamation marks but not before other punctuation.

Thanks. But I am more interested in Herman Melville, the author of the novel Moby Dick.

"The novel was a commercial failure and out of print at the time of the author's death in 1891, but during the 20th century, its reputation as a Great American Novel was established."

People value your work only after your death! Sigh!

I can't even read one word of it there. The links lead me to here: https://www.completelynovel.com/books/enlightenment--8/read but nothing to be seen. I expect there is some JS there that is required to read some simple text.

Disabling JS may keep you a bit safer when surfing the Internet, but it also takes away most of the fun.

You can access the link on some public computer in a library or places like that. Alternatively, you can just buy my novel so that you will have something interesting to read when you are aboard a plane. The printer does not have a big delivery network, but it can certainly send the book to most European countries, including Hungary.

Or the website could just do things in sane fashion and not require JS to display simple text.

there are lots of symbols, most of the time i wonder if symbolism mean the lack of ability to translate wisdom?

someone put a 10/22 date in ats forum,

it just cool if one could lay out the future events as if they are the one controlling them with mind power or probably some spirits power?

there are just too many questions in daily life that we ignore, weird, damn weird,

Look at sleepsleep's handle. Pay attention to the two l's and the two p's.

The upper parts of the two l's are above the rest of the characters whereas the lower parts of the two p's are below, which, I believe, translates to "1111".

So, on 11/11, sleepsleep may win a jackpot, be run over by a car, come across his dream girl (yeah, the married woman that keeps appearing in his dreams), earn a big fortune by performing some simple task, drop one of his balls, be struck by lightning -- just to name a few. Or ... nothing special will happen.

Well, the weather here is not good. I don't think that I can see the moon tonight. Since I don't celebrate any such festivals, it is no big deal for me.

Thank you for your blessings, anyway.
