Yes, first switch to 32-bit mode and then using V86 mode.

at present the project is unstable. sometimes at first starting the computer off the program cannot be loaded to the memory. for who will help to show hundredfold thanks basic mistake in the code and will eliminate him. I would ask Japheth, but unfortunately for a long time isn't in contact with him (probably is died).

As an interested outsider, I am curious about how this compares to Japheth's experiment (see also here) or to Chourdakis's DMMI. (As far as I know, these are the only other attempts to build a 64-bit DOS extender).

DX64 - open source 64-bit dos extender with a few examples how to use it.
Executables (ADAM format) can be compressed by 32LITE, UPX or LPACK. To recompile sources you need modified by me FASM/VASM assembler. There are four versions of the dos extender (two with support for 1GB pages or not, and two as an external|internal stub-loader). Choose the one that suits you. I quit virtual mode due to its instability. It is also possible to download files from (search DX64.7Z, FASM*.7Z files): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B_wEiYjzVkC0ZGtkbENENzF1Nms Have fun.
