Board member who have passed away (RIP)
We don't live forever. You and I could be next.

RIP to these people;

1. baldr
2. vid (confirmed alive)
3. Yong
4. mental
5. ASMGuru (reported back)
6. etc...

Btw, any idea who else? Any news? What's their GitHub account? Facebook? Bitcoins account?

Lets have a minute of silence for them...

I don't lurk this forum anymore, but I still do visit when someone notifies me about something regarding me. And you can still reach me via PM on this forum.

Aside from that, for all other purposes I've been divided by zero.

Ha, vid, long time no see. Hope all is well with you and yours.

You were right about HLLs being cool. Free Pascal now has an i8086-msdos cross-target (and supports inline assembly). Cool Laughing Twisted Evil

<joke> Otherwise, I'm waiting until next year [sic] for Fortran 2015. </joke>

I assume you're still using C++? Presumably '17 now that it's basically finalized?

That's why I have already overtaken you in terms of post count!

BTW, I think that you should renounce your mod status.

Hi rugxulo,

All is well, but for last few years I spend more time with historical research than with hacking/coding..

As for my HLL of choice, in my job I mostly use C/C++ (let's say low-level C++, quite C-ish, not too OOPy), and also still a good deal of ASM (mostly for technical reasons of being able to do some code-manipulation etc.). Should I work in a more standard enterprisey coding environment, I would like to get a hold of modern C++ based on what I have learned about it,, but so far I haven't really gotten to it.

According to system error, I am dead. How could you expect a dead man to answer your question?

Confused
