@Walter
"but I don't know a soul in them"
Honestly, sometimes I'm not sure about the message behind the photo.
As long as is it's interesting, I press the shutter button. Very Happy

"What is film?"
Film as in film/analogue photography. Despite the advent of digital cameras, film photography is not dead, yet.

I prefer the photos taken at evening / night because of specific combination of illumination and intriguing shadows. I mean especially these three images:

@sleepsleep
A little bit of post-processing is involved.
I use Adobe Lightroom on Windows, and VSCO Cam on Android to emulate those "film looks"

@MHajduk
Well those are indeed among my favorites. Somehow I knew I'm going to like the result at the moment the shutter button was pressed Smile

Here we have a quite big amplitude of temperature changes. About a week ago we even had ground frosts but three days ago it was 25°C in sunny places. Smile

Today it's 15°C here.

@MHajduk:

The third and close-up "birch eye" is unique. Nice photo.

@Enko:

The sunset glass photo looks mysterious & intriguing. Good shot!

i think this illusion is incredible,

from : http://distractify.com/old-school/2015/02/22/mind-blowing-optical-illusions-1197825445

All the dots on this image are white, but some appear black.

No matter how hard you try, you won’t be able to look directly at the black dots that appear in the circles. Why this illusion works is still a mystery.

I think it is a bandwidth compression technique used by the retina. When you move your eye it takes a short time for the new light intensity to be detected and transmitted to the brain. Note that the black dots always trail the eye movement direction. Normally we don't notice this because things that move at high speed are too blurry to see unless we directly track it.
