I successfully installed fasm for linux in puppy linux, but it got installed on category none, how would i assemble using it. Typing fasm on terminal shows command not found.

And how did you "installed" FASM? I am not Linux guru, but IMHO, you simply should ensure FASM executable is placed in some of the "bin" directories: "/usr/local/bin" for example. Then check the access rights: "chmod 755 fasm";

I just clicked on 'fasm-1.71.05.tgz ' which shows an xmessage clicking yes shows click ok to "install" the package.After looking in '/' there exist a folder named fasm , Copying fasm to /usr/local/bin cause fasm to work fine, Just assembled the example code, Thank you.
