im getting the ole "file not found" error on this line:
Code: include 'MACRO\IMPORT32.INC' i am on windows xp. i am trying to compile from the command line with fasm.exe, as i have my own text editor. using fasmw.exe seems to work fine. i am trying to compile files in the directory "D:\Profile.cu\Desktop\827\assembly\" the executable is in "C:\Program Files\fasmw16927" i have a fasmw.ini file in C:\Program Files\fasmw16927 with the line Include="C:\Program Files\fasmw16927\INCLUDE" ive tried creating the INCLUDE environmental variable with the value "C:\Program Files\fasmw16927\include" and then starting up a new cmd.exe to reload the environmental variables ive tried the above, and then changing the line in the code to: Code: include '%INCLUDE%\MACRO\IMPORT32.INC' it doesnt evaluate the %INCLUDE%. i thought it would because of http://flatassembler.net/docs.php?article=manual#2.3.1 third paragraph ive tried running it from every combination of current directories i could think of. there is one combination that works. if i put the file i want to compile in C:\Program Files\fasmw16927 and i change the line to Code: include 'INCLUDE\MACRO\IMPORT32.INC' anyone have any ideas? |
