- I think it's more of a generalization that...
People using *nix are "more prepared" to use the command line then those using win*.

- I think creating a GUI on a *nix platform is more compli(continue reading HAHA you can't misquote me now Razz)cated then on win*. Complicated in that there are more choices and compatibility concerns, so a universal solution would take extra effort.

Wouldn't using Midnight Commander (MC) with its built-in editor and associating all .ASM files to FASM work pretty well?
