Wasn't there an old BAT2EXE.ZIP program on the old BBS sites ?
I remember downloading something like that in 1995 or so ?
It looked like the .EXE had code that loaded the .BAT data into the batch interpeter or something ? Cuz, in viewing the .EXE made from the .BAT file, there was MZ, some code, then the .BAT file in it's entirety, exactly as it was in the original .BAT file.

Well, you might do a Google search for the .ZIP
