http://www.gps.caltech.edu/content/caltech-researchers-find-evidence-real-ninth-planet
Quote:
Caltech researchers have found evidence of a giant planet tracing a bizarre, highly elongated orbit in the outer solar system. The object, which the researchers have nicknamed Planet Nine, has a mass about 10 times that of Earth and orbits about 20 times farther from the sun on average than does Neptune (which orbits the sun at an average distance of 2.8 billion miles). In fact, it would take this new planet between 10,000 and 20,000 years to make just one full orbit around the sun.
So now the old planet nine (Pluto) might have a new brother. But if the prediction turns out to be correct then getting a space craft there would be a difficult and lengthy process (if even possible with today's technology). And images of it would be extremely feeble and uninteresting. If you thought the images of Pluto before New Horizons got there were bad then this would be truly awful in comparison.

Ultima Thule, aka PT1, aka MU69, aka (486958) 2014 MU69 is soon to be met by New Horizons.

A new year's gift for space buffs.

Hehe, maybe you are correct. If so then it is nice to believe the illusion created by all the 1000's of conspirators.

Third-party evidence for Apollo Moon landings.

You don't need to believe any of that though. If one was so inclined they could perform the experiments themselves. Get a shortwave radio and record data from satellites, etc. Then, at that point, it would be the whole of science and engineering that would be part of the conspiracy.

If you think space exploration has been too perfect, just watch: http://www.pbs.org/the-farthest/ There are many mistakes.

...and the number one proof that the USA has been in space: all the space trash! Laughing

In the meantime, another spacecraft has arrived at smallest object ever orbited by a probe: https://www.asteroidmission.org/?latest-news=nasas-osiris-rex-spacecraft-enters-close-orbit-around-bennu-breaking-record
