I'm kind of starving for music last 5 years.

But if you can find Plug Suit Asuka .mp4 hmv, that's even better. I'm sure it's on torrents, also I have a copy now. The robotic movements really fit the song.

I have money for a hdd drive. I'm never deleting an mp3 again. It will be deleted for you in some other means, no matter.

I remember I spent some time studying video encoding, simply because of my lack of hdd space. I didn't want to just delete videos, I wanted to leave a piece of each, at least 5 seconds. So, I tried to create a 4 second video thumbnails for some of my videos, by taking 4 seconds from 0% mark, 25% mark, 50% mark and 75% mark. Not finished.

It's a strange mixture of python, C, and ffmpeg command arguments. The ffmpeg filters system almost feels like a separate language on it's own, then one video or audio stream flows through different filters.

Not all songs sound equally good when stereo is merged in mono (one song had a thrumped sound at the beginning, that sounds almost intentionally disgusting when merged to mono, you must use only one of two channels for that one).

Many pornhub videos seem to be converted to a different frame per second value. You can notice if you go through videos frame by frame, many are exactly the same. So I decided I'd only use 30 fps for all thumbnails, because why not. There are many different fps values for different cameras and tv formats, but 30 feels more standard? Actually 60 is standard, but really you wouldn't notice difference between 30 and 60.

One difference between matroshka and mp4 containers, mp4 specifies fps as number / number, for example 1 / 30, 1 / 60, 99 / 1000, and then just addresses frames as frame 1, frame 2, ... , frame 513. (Or numeration goes from 0, not sure). Matroshka though uses time for frames, in 1 / 1 000 000 of a second, and with unspecified rounding rules. I found mp4 way to be simpler. Also I now want to make my own container format.

Webm + vp8 looks like h.264 with less features, and it is pretty much an attempt to avoid copyright / pattents by using inferiour, but still working technology and algorithms. They say that lack of features is a good thing, and maybe it's true. But h.264 seems to get more compression before image becomes way too fuzzy. I like that h.264 at least supposed to use multiple reference frames, so it can save some cpu power and time by wasting a tiny bit of memory during decompression. I need to test more.

Video codecs seem like a good place to learn assembly, because it's one of a few places where assembly usage 100% pays off. I just need to compile libjpeg, start writing my program, try out debugger in visual studio 2017, and step by step through assembly.

I think I wasted 6 hours on nothing again. Worth it. No wonder my brain is rotting, if you don't get enough sleep it's natural. Actually, oddly enough, I feel lack of sleep more by heart than by head, heart is more tired.

Maybe if you were to talk about assembly codes then perhaps people would want to respond?

Hm.

It's, like, the most boring part of life.

This faggot pretty much told me to shut up, didn't he? I wish to him to talk about nothing but assembly for a year. Like, telling his wife in bed "should I goto a bit further?"

most of the time, the crazy hardly realize they are crazy,

i don't know why talking alone sounds crazy, it might sounds abnormal, since less people do so, but once it becomes a trend, talking to others will look crazy,

it just a trend thing,

we never really know, maybe there really some invisible voice or so,

i guess most prophets are guilty for this behavior, talking alone, and claim the voice from god,

I tell so much, but hear nothing from you, that's not an equal exchange of information, you know? I know it's not like I'm sharing something useful, that's no trade secrets or something... Well, I got a few of my questions answered before, so...

If somebody here is to play Amayui, play Fire Emblem too, maybe first. "whoisthisgit" has a lot of interesting to say about latter.

basically i am a freelancer, i provide services related to IT, network, computer etc,

i been doing this for years, some client run small company, some medium, rarely i could get large companies, because they already got their own IT department and usually, they don't need someone like me to advise them alternatives,

i think a lot, pondering almost all the time, because this world feels so weird to me, and when i put more and more questions, i tended to lost inside some of my questions,

i believe human should try to make earth a better place for everyone, a no suffering, a peaceful, harmony, with people who have great understanding on life, cherish, appreciate and so on,

and i hope i could join japanese billionaire on moon tour, Smile

What country are you from? What do you enjoy the most?

Humans should create a world where you don't have to work to survive. This is like super slavery right now - you work or you die.

Moon is a scary place. On earth you can just go outside at any moment, and you are guaranteed to be alive for at least 3 days. On moon, in case of malfunction you die instantly. Get into a bunker, or just cover all your windows, you will get the same experience.

it might be hard to achieve now, since we don't have knowledge yet to create abundance, but within 100 years, am sure we will get to there,

so far, i think freelancer is kinda free, no 9 to 5, i work only when they called, and no call means no income, thats why i drive grab / uber as a part time job,

i wish i could stare at the earth from a far, this is one of my dream,

+8 .my?

just living is boring. Staring at the wall is technically living.

There are different parts of my brain that are active when I listen to music, when I feel different emotions, when I fap, when I navigate 3d space. I guess this is what living is.

Youtube is shit, to find an old video on somebody's channel, you need to scroll down and down and down, and wait for page to load, and load, and load. On most sites you can specify a page's number in the url instead. Google focuses on mobile phones mostly, because it's harder to disable ads there. Maybe it's some strange form of protection against overusing their servers, maybe it's harder to make queries too heavy for youtube.

Anyway, want some music? Want to see some DDR action (or at least hear buttons clacking like crazy) and people cheering up? Go here https://www.youtube.com/user/WinDEU/videos and ctrl-f for
" SRT7 - Intro " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds42jAzOqSs

stage 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frstY8EeFNM

And after that, go here https://www.youtube.com/user/WinDEU/videos and ctrl-f for WinDEU Hates You: The Movie - Intro

Or just click those

intro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eb9obKBToqE
stage 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7eJ93RZI3k
fill later
stage 5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vRfgpmxL5w

You know, "meta" works often get more well known or praised than the works they parody or works they build upon. But you wouldn't get the same experience if you go out of order, you wouldn't get half the jokes. I'm sure Evangelion and Gurren Lagann are in a sense parodies of other works like Gundam and Macros and maybe others, but I never really seen the originals...

I like this 5 stage structure, it gives the sense of epicness to what is going on. Open world games and metroidvanias lose this taste, the taste of game getting progressively harder, music progressively more serious and action progressively more intense.

I like how near the end of stage 5 game just goes "fuck it, you won", and just starts dancing along.

sonic cd music genre

http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?s=b315785f4524a191a4db437d93886f3c&showtopic=34007&st=15

Quote:
Falk is spot on because, at least for the pre-SA2 games, the styling of level BGM is distinctly proto-pop, or lo-fi if you want. The music sounds like someone had an idea for a catchy radio song (of random genre), so they went ahead and tested the composition on low-quality gear, in a single loop, substituting any lyrics for instrumentals - which I hear is a common music biz scenario. (Even makes sense when you think about DCT and MJ's involvement in Sonic music - they are pros, they should be used to this sort of thing.) Because the YM chip does a wonderful bass emulation and most catchy radio songs of the 90s relied on bass, it works very well and comes off very distinctive. Sonic CD didn't need to, but still played by the same rules, as did Sonic Adventure - for zone music, at least. I guess it sounds less obstructive and therefore fits the ambient more or something.

By the way, I heard there is a "remake" of sonic cd on pc. Downsides are, they cut out the music from the opening because of copyright issues (yeah). And I wish they'd make time travel faster, that's what creators intended to do but couldn't. I'd recommend trying it on emulator first. They changed loops a bit, the "sega cd" used cd disks for playing music, and they needed some time to seek back to the beginning of the song. So, sonic team composed tiny 4 second music pieces that would play during that looping. But in the end they weren't used, track just starts from the beginning every time. But fans found it somehow, and added those in the remakes.
