what would you do if your dreams were short of money?
Hi friends.
What will you do if you want to achieve your ideal, but lack of money?

Either work harder to make more money or find another dream.

i sincerely like this question,

because we are under assumption, we could achieve our ideal by having monies, and what is next if our ideal need more and more monies to maintain?

there are infinite desire to own resources, and more resources, without realizing our lifespan is so significantly finite at this moment,

our ideal might change from day to day, month to month or year to year? flashback your encounter with your ex girlfriend or ex boyfriend?

or you could choose to believe, anything that could be solved by having monies is not much astounding after all,

But hard work never made anybody rich. Luck, opportunity, innovative ideas (in other words "being in the right place at the right time with the right ideas" (or whatever) is what did.

You can't honestly say that the top 2% work so much harder than everybody else on this planet. Many orders of magnitude harder!

As to answer the question, I'd say, give up and just dream about it. World is unfair.

Remember, people who succeed are the rare minority for a reason. You hear about them because they succeed, but for each one who succeeds, there's been 99 who failed (or something like that). You don't hear about them of course, cause they give up/disappear/change their goals/suicide.

I saw something once about a pilot who was in a bad situation like this and AFAIK he borrowed massive money to get out of this hole and gambled it... and of course he lost it, so he crashed the plane (no joke) killing everyone on board. Because he just wanted to kill himself. Wink

Now, I approve of one thing about the guy: since he couldn't stand his situation anymore, he tried last attempt to gamble everything (but ended up worse in debt of course). After all he had a chance to succeed this way! Turns out (of course) he didn't, but the outcome was the same anyway. Killing everyone for his own stupid purpose is a dick move though.

kerr's question is not about how to get rich. It is about how to pursue a dream when the dreamer is tight on cash.

I understood it as "I have big goals that need alot of money which I'll never be able to get", most other simple goals are achievable without money anyway.

For example, if his goal is to go to Mars or try to do that (just an example), or something like that, not everyone has the same privilege as Elon Musk or whoever. But yet nothing makes Musk special in terms of having these goals, everyone can have them, but for 99% it will be just dreams. This is a fact in the sense that statistics show this.

Yeah.
What your say is good.
When ambition can not support the dream, why don't we settle down to study?
Everybody is short of money.
Perhaps money is the biggest goal to achieve the ideal,

forex could help you or kill you too, trade using 10 cents or less, because your money serve as margin, minimal trade amount creates larger buffer,

Depending on the kind of study you are talking about, it may still require lots of cash. For example, the tuition of a formal MBA curriculum may not be affordable by everyone.

So, it seems that Furs is correct after all. At the end of the day, the goal is to get rich, not to pursue any dream.

Sad but true.

What if his dream was to be rich? Razz (rich doesn't technically mean money only, it means assets too, maybe he wants a private jet or yacht Confused)
