Information & News : Anti Aging, Living Forever
Living forever is one of my main interest, I will specifically use this thread to share, track such information, technology, discovery, and infinitely welcome your reply,

I don't want to die and I want to live, if possible, forever Wink and no doubt, I could only skip death when death became curable, skip-able for mass, since I am not someone special, holding power and authority, or having wealth like nation,

The best outlook to have in future would be, such genome editing, reprogramming process, or etc methods to stay young, reverse aging, become open source, available to everybody who intend to study and probably, try

Scientists Say the Clock of Aging May Be Reversible

Dr. Izpisua Belmonte has spent five years devising ways to deliver a nonlethal dose of Yamanaka factors to mice. The solution his team developed was to genetically engineer mice with extra copies of the four Yamanaka genes, and to have the genes activated only when the mice received a certain drug in their drinking water, applied just two days a week.

i don't think i, and most probably, most of the human on earth, have the sense of urgency towards the idea, "life is very short,"

is like we keep wasting the hours, days, weeks, months, and years, and we do nothing about it to ensure we could continue survive forever,

is like we are not aware, we are locked inside a tank filled with water and we only have few minutes of oxygen,

maybe the earth is too big to be called prison because everybody seem to roam freely Laughing Laughing Laughing

but there is another prison, the body prison that will decay after four thousands plus weeks, roughly 77 years, which is insanely little,

whether we like or dislike, this is probably the limit imposed on us human,

Scientists have presented a prototype for a 3D bioprinter that can create totally functional human skin. This skin is adequate for transplanting to patients or for use in research or the testing of cosmetic, chemical, and pharmaceutical products.

I saw an ad once where it said a company will inject you with children's blood (matching type ofc) for like 8000$ in a beta trial. I didn't click it because they're mostly clickbait, but since you're interested, you might want to try googling.

A show on BBC proved how injecting old rats with young rat blood (children rats) re-activated their stem cells (or something like that?) and made their brains as agile as a young rat, skin recovery etc too, basically they reversed aging. Now that company is apparently wanting to try it on humans.

Yeah, expensive, but you didn't really believe you'd get it easy when this world is ran by the top 1% did you? It will obviously be far more expensive after the trial is over, if it's successful.

And yeah, until we manage to create artificial young blood, this will be limited to the top few who are willing to pay for it, because the supply of children blood is uhm "limited".

no, gold is absolutely very scarce, and they are pricey,

saw that news too, $8000 to change all your blood, like changing car black oil, Laughing Laughing
i guess when doctors said they can't do much anymore, we will need to use this as plan B,
8,000 USD =35,460.79MYR
not cheap, but i will try to find this monies if such process could prevent me from dying,

Well it won't prevent you from dying, but it will prevent you from aging or even reverse aging. You could still die in other ways, unrelated to old age, obviously. Razz

For a longer life, researchers say eat this many fruits and veggies per day
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/for-a-longer-life-researchers-say-eat-this-many-fruits-and-veggies-per-day/

Quote:
To arrive at these figures, scientists from Imperial College London analyzed 95 studies on fruit and vegetable intake. The meta-analysis included 2 million people from populations worldwide and assessed up to 43,000 cases of heart disease, 47,000 cases of stroke, 81,000 cases of cardiovascular disease, 112,000 cancer cases, and 94,000 deaths. The results are published in the International Journal of Epidemiology.

“We wanted to investigate how much fruit and vegetables you need to eat to gain the maximum protection against disease, and premature death,” Dr. Dagfinn Aune, lead author of the research from the School of Public Health at Imperial College London, said in a statement. “Our results suggest that although five portions of fruit and vegetables is good, ten a day is even better.”

Lithium-Ion Battery Inventor Introduces New Technology for Fast-Charging, Noncombustible Batteries
https://news.utexas.edu/2017/02/28/goodenough-introduces-new-battery-technology

Quote:
The researchers demonstrated that their new battery cells have at least three times as much energy density as today’s lithium-ion batteries. A battery cell’s energy density gives an electric vehicle its driving range, so a higher energy density means that a car can drive more miles between charges. The UT Austin battery formulation also allows for a greater number of charging and discharging cycles, which equates to longer-lasting batteries, as well as a faster rate of recharge (minutes rather than hours).

Artificial human life could soon be grown in lab after embryo breakthrough
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2017/03/02/artificial-human-life-could-soon-grown-lab-embryo-breakthrough/

Quote:

Cambridge University mixed two kinds of mouse stem cells and placed them on a 3D scaffold. After four days of growth in a tank of chemicals designed to mimic conditions inside the womb, the cells formed the structure of a living mouse embryo.

The breakthrough has been described as a ‘masterpiece’ in bioengineering, which could eventually allow scientists to grow artificial human embryos in the lab without the need for a sperm or an egg.

did they introduce ethics in having kids? ethics in bringing a new life form on earth?

ethics in guiding a baby into grown up man/woman?

we should have all these ethics written in common sense explainable words,

you could clone your body accepted organs in a pig now,
https://www.statnews.com/2017/01/26/first-chimera-human-pig/

now pig is greater than god for sure, at least this pig having organs that could save your life, reduce your pain,

animals is greater than god, the chicken you eat everyday, fish, they are sacrificed, because human want to live on earth continuously,

even plant is greater than god, fruits is greater than god,

my advice to everybody is, please don't waste your food, those are great sacrifice by lots of conscious who don't want to die, who are so afraid when they need to be slaughtered by people,

It's Happening: Scientists Can Now Reverse DNA Ageing in Mice
http://www.sciencealert.com/scientists-have-successfully-reversed-dna-ageing-in-mice

Quote:

They've shown that by giving a particular compound to older mice, they can activate the DNA repair process and not only protect against future damage, but repair the existing effects of ageing. And they're ready to start testing in humans within six months.

"The cells of the old mice were indistinguishable from the young mice, after just one week of treatment," said lead researcher David Sinclair from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia and the Harvard Medical School in Boston.
