My web server software (rwasa) considers requests that do not contain the Host: HTTP header to be bad requests, so it is rightfully returning the 400 error to uptimerobot.

When I am done investigating a few other issues, I will add a default catch-all to the virtual hosting feature to eliminate 400 bad request responses.

This board is currently very slow (latency > 1+ seconds in many cases) for me. Although it does get there in the end. Other sites are at normal speed.

Is it only board and not the other fasm's pages? For me it's not that slow right now.

Hmm, I run a constant "ping -i 5 board.flatassembler.net" so I can keep an eye on both my local connection as well as remote...

~245ms pingtimes for me at the moment... loading this thread's page looks like:

It seems to be just the board. flatassemblet.net, arm and fresh are good.

As of now, the board works fine. But the formatting of the other four pages is gone:

- Main index
- Download
- Documentation
- Examples

Confused

@YONG: How about pressing Ctrl+F5 it seems the .css is not loaded properly. I can't reproduce this issue here - everything loads properly.

There is a collateral damage: the download page offers a silent update from Aug-02 but actually the files are reverted back to Jun-09, the 2 fixed BUG's are back Sad

thanks,
glad to hear that,

another suggestion under http is javascript md5/sha1 password with server datetime before sending for verification,

eg.
server send in datetime in form hidden 200820162359
md5(password+200820162359) to server as password

server received our submission in the next minute
php script generate hash from user db password + server datetime
md5(password+210820160000)

password not found, server verify by minus 1 minute
md5(password+200820162359)

hash matched, user log on.
at least password doesn't travel naked.
