I don't see many posts on those subjects so I don't know if it makes sense to make a separate sub forum for them but if having a separate sub forum would encourage members to post about those subjects then why not. Smile

madmatt,

Algorithms and code snippets are discussed in the Windows forum, it should be O.K for all of us.

FASM supports many operating systems, so this board isn't dedicated only to windows programming (like masmforum or board.win32asm). This caused current board structure: there are no dedicated forums for beginners, advanced, algorithms, DX, whatever, but they are dedicated to an OSes that FASM supports. That may be a problem when user base will grow, it would be nice to have some place for beginners, to keep similar posts together. But how to achieve this? Should every OS forum have subforums for newbies? Someday we will have to think about it.
Anyway, DirectX related topics should be posted in Windows forum, and Algorithms and snippets that are OS-independent - in Main.

Yeh, good point, the base isn't as good as MASM right now, so maybe these suggested topics should be shelved for furture thought.
